The next few days were spent driving between the othereight distilleries on the islands, sampling whiskies, roamingthe pristine beaches— and doingthefamedwhiskywalk.lt starts in Port Charlotte and curves up the southeast coast throughamoss-greenforestand pasta 13th century castle, linkingthe three most famous distilleries: Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig. In terms of planninga trip, there's plenty of advice out there, but herearea few of my recommendations.
