Forgotten World Adventures, operators of the self-drive carts on the former Stratford - Okahukura line won, a major award in the inaugural RuapehuTourism Awards.The company was named the region's Best New Business and was also named runner-up in the Best Use of Social Media award. The awards were announced in mid-December 2013, and in September at the Westpac Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards, Forgotten World Adventures was named Best New Business. To meet its growing demand, Forgotten World Adventures has scheduled more than 50 extra tours during the summer season.
