I've always had a real passion for learning - and for learning to be easy and fun for everyone. Initially I taught commerce at secondary and tertiary levels. While I loved teaching, and loved the students, I felt sad that so many were labelled and written offas slow learners. Ididn't believe that was true and that's what led me to explore how learning happens. It was exciting finding all this out, especially the 1970s' work of people like Tony Buzan and others, who explored how the brain works and brought new insights and strategies for learning.
