Slimmer, lighter MacBook

Apple says it used technologies and techniques learnt from making the iPhone and iPad to create its new 2015 MacBook. The result is a mobile computer that is thinner, smaller and lighter than any other laptop. It is just 13mm at its thickest and weighs a mere 800g. It's so light that when I went to carry it on an airplane in a satchel I had to check it was still there! To get there, Apple made compromises but it also loaded up powerful features. The high resolution screen is beautiful and there's a new kind of Force touchpad. This allows software to do new things. So, if you're in a word processor and you press hard on a word, a screen pops up showing a definition of the word.
