GENERIC TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

摘要

This section describes various basic research and development activities in Japan to inform the world about generic R&D efforts here. In the field of transient pressure measurement, many new transducers and technologies have been developed for industrial and scientific interests. The importance of reliable measurement of dynamic pressure is increasing in a wide range of applications, such as aeronautics, blast-wave analysis, internal combustion and jet engine testing, health, safety etc. Though there have been reasonably good static pressure standards, such as pressure bal-ances, there are few dynamic pressure standards reliable enough for their needs. Without good measurement standards it is difficult to estimate the dynamic characteristics and performance of such pressure transducers.
