GENERIC TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

摘要

This section describes various basic research and development activities in Japan to inform the world about generic R&D efforts here. Biological substances are extremely complex systems in which many types and sizes of molecules cooperatively realize a variety of functions. According to the situation, the biological system responds to input stimulation very nonlinearly and, when transforming to a new equilibrium state, overall destabili-zation occurs due to amplification of small input sjgnals and noise. To clarify the dynamic nature, we will simulate the phenomena and develop new measurement methods utilizing the technique in molecular biology.
