MINI BLACK HOLES FLY THROUGH EARTH WITH THE GREATEST OF EASE

If a black hole crashed into the Earth, it wouldn't be as devastating as you might expect-as long as the black hole was tiny enough. It's possible trillions of tiny black holes were created during the big bang, and could still be hanging around today. So far, though, nobody has found any evidence for them, Iosif Khriplovich at Novosibirsk State University in Russia and his colleagues decided to calculate whether we could detect such a black hole if it passed through the Earth.
