Journal will publish claims that we can see the future

Extraordinary claims don't come much more extraordinary than this: events that haven't yet happened can influence our behaviour. Para psychologists have been making outlandish claims about precognition - knowledge of unpredictable future events - for many years. Now a paper providing evidence for its existence has been accepted for publication by the leading social psychology journal. Daryl Bern of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, carried out a series of experiments over eight years, involving more than 1000 volunteers, in which he took well-studied psychological phenomena and reversed sequences so that the event usually interpreted as the cause happened after the tested behaviour.
