Nnasa's venerable workhorses will not be put out to pasture just yet. The space shuttles will almost certainly keep flying into 2011, now that delays on the ground are likely to postpone the last two flights.rnThis year was supposed to be the last for the shuttle service. The order to retire the fleet came in the wake of the fatal 2003 Columbia accident, and the last flight had been scheduled for November. Delays will probably push back the launch until early 2011.
