According to research from American Express Platinum Charge Card*, 94 per cent of travellers want to get out of their comfort zone and try something new while they're on holiday. But planning takes time and effort - so where do you begin? A good starting point is deciding the one thing that would make your holiday really special. For 66 per cent* of those surveyed by American Express, exploring the natural environment is top of their to-do list. A further 49% look to try something a bit different while abroad, so getting off the beaten track is a great way to make the most of a trip.
