Heart of sandstone

What was thought to be the fossilised heart of a dinosaur turns out to be nothing more than sand that was washed into its decomposing body. But all is not lost: the sand has preserved tiny structures that may be fragments of tissue (Naturwissenschaften, DOI: 10.10O7/S00114-010-0760-1).
