An LED -peppered skirt changes the colour patterns it displays depending upon the wearer's distance above sea level, as well as their skin temperature and the ambient air temperature. The Barometric Skirt, developed by Rain Ashford at Goldsmiths, University of London, includes a sensor to measure air pressure, plus skin and external temperature sensors. It was demonstrated at last week's International Symposium on Wearable Computers in Seattle.
