The stadium is rocking - and now a seismic sensor proves it. Seattle's Century Link Field, home to the National Football League's Seattle Seahawks, is renowned for its raucous crowds. Last week, Steve Malone and researchers at the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network tested sensors rigged up inside the 67,000 seat stadium during the team's key Championship game. The team analysed the data in real time and streamed it to fans online. Malone says the project will be a "great fire drill" that lets his team practise handling live data in case a real quake strikes the seismically active area.
