Disney and Five in talks on new children's channel along with deal over branded content

The Walt Disney Company is talks with UK broadcaster Five that could see the two companies jointly launch a children's channel. It understood that the tie-up with Five would include a production deal with Disney. This would give Disney a greater presence on terrestrial television, something that was reduced when a production agreement with breakfast-television station GMTV ended this month.
