Just how grey is grey?

There is no significant market for "grey" satellite services, we are told by AEPOC this week, and even if there is one, it does not represent a serious problem. At least not as serious as the "black" market of illegal decoders and smart cards hacks. It is not difficult to see why pay-television operators could be reluctant to pursue the grey market with the same vigour as straight-down-the-line piracy. First and foremost, because AEPOC has a point: there is an undeniable difference between the grey and the black market.
