Rai, the Italian public-service broadcaster, is facing the prospect of having to refund the cost of digital-terrestrial television reception equipment to thousands of Italian consumers, following a legal complaint filed this week.rnItalian consumer-rights organization Codacon - the Coordination of associations for the defense of the environment and rights of users and consumers — said that it made a complaint to the Justice of the Peace after it had been approached for assistance by a consumer from the Lazio region who wanted to request a refund or a discount on his Rai license fee.
