Process enhances water-absorbing property of rutile titanium dioxide

A group of Japanese universities, working in concert with a Chinese company, have combined to develop a rutile titanium dioxide material that possesses high hydrophilic and water-absorbing properties, and which is expected to be used as an inorganic water-absorption agent.
