Aecom has unified all of its European water operations under one managing director in order to capitalise on growth in former Soviet countries, and on work in the 2015-2020 UK regulatory period for water. Combining Aecom's consultancy, design-build and operations/maintenance businesses throughout Europe has allowed it to benefit from potential cost efficiencies and to offer a more integrated service to water sector clients who want to procure multiple services on the same project, Aecom Europe managing director for water Graham Howells told NCE.
