A floating platform for offshore wind turbines is to be built in the Baltic sea. Swedish power firm Hexicon announced the plans after raising SKrn.4M (£1M) through a rights issue. It said it planned to use the cash to demonstrate its innovative platforms, which allow turbines to be sited in deep water locations. They will be designed to turn automatically into strong winds.
