Tidal power firm wins funding boost for Canadian project

The firm behind the MeyGen tidal energy scheme in Scotland has received a funding boost for separate plans to generate tidal power in Canada. The Canadian subsidiary of Singapore-headquartered Atlantis Resources was awarded a subsidy by the Nova Scotia government for up to 4.5MW of tidal generation.
