The quadrennial congress is always a highlight in thenlife of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies.nThe twelfth congress was supported by the PortuguesenSociety of Neurosurgery and organised in Lisbonnunder the Presidency of Professor Victor Goncalves.nOver 1000 active participants, plus accompanying personsnand representatives from trade and other organisations,nattended the Congress. The delightful environmentnof warm, sunny autumn days in the beautiful city ofnLisbon was matched by a stimulating scientific programmenand convivial social events.
