GA launches security pack

Computer Associates last week unveiled a suite of applications designed to address the anti-virus, data backup and PC migration needs of small and remote offices. CAs Protection Suites will combine its new Desktop DNA Migrator tool for transferring data and settings between PCs with three other applications: eTrust Antivirus, eTrust Pest Patrol Anti-Spyware and BrightStor ArcServe Backup for PC data backup and restore capabilities. The bundled application suites include tools to perform anti-virus scans, detect spyware and manage desktops and servers, and the standard and premium editions of Microsoft's Small Business Server products. Customers can mix and match among the five tools.
