Security Policies for webComputing systems

摘要

Formerly, information systems for enterprises were built by the mainframe technology. Then client/server technolo- gy was adopted for enterprise systems. Recently, the webComputing system, which takes advan= tage of both mainframe system and client/server system and makes use of Internet technology and distributed object technology, has been introduced to enterprise systems. Based on this background, NEC presented the concept of "WebComputingFramework", which is a next-generation information system architecture, in August 1997.
