NEC has developed a μPD61030 for the digital STB market. This LSI integrates high performance MIPS CPU.TS decoder,MEPG2 AV decoder, graphics and many peripheral functions which are required in STB application.NEC has also developed the SOC (System On a Chip)design environment for this product.
