2012 ASNE FRANK G. LAW AWARD PRESENTED AT THE ASNE HONORS GALA ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 212013

As an active duty Fleet Maintenance Officer, RADM Jeffrey A. Brooks, USN (Ret.) recognized the value of ASNE to the Naval Engineering community and made himself available to help strengthen the Society's involvement with the ship maintenance community. An advisor to the Tidewater Programs Committee, Admiral Brooks served as a guest speaker and helped to secure other flag officers to speak at several dinner meetings. In 2006, while still serving as Fleet Maintenance Officer, he served as Section Chairman for Tidewater despite the tremendous demands of his job. The leadership and personal attention he brought to the position elevated the stature of ASNE. His outstanding performance as Section Chairman resulted in the ASNE Tidewatei Section being recognized as Section of the Year.
