Automated Warfare Systems: An Engineering Perspective

摘要

This paper offers a new paradigm for describing deployed naval systems. Acquisition reform, while encouraging the Department of Defense to be more dependent on industry, recognizes the important government role of ownership and accountability in acquiring things. Warfare system are no exception. One of the factors to be considered is how the deployed force will use the warfare system. This percep- ton, or mental image, is one view of the deployed force; that is, the viewpoint of the Defense acquisition community.
