ANU College of Medicine, Biology & Environment ANU College of Physical & Mathematical Sciences $96,865 - $123,772 pa plus 17% super, Fixed Term - 5 years A347-11 MY We are seeking a dynamic scientist specialising in electron microscopy for relating the structure and function of living systems. The academic appointee will become Deputy Director (Programs) for the Centre of Advanced Microscopy at ANU. The position of Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor is based in the Centre for Advanced Microscopy, but with the expectation that the appointee will establish a strong collaborative relationship with the Research School of Biology (RSB) and John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR). The appointee will make significant contributions to training in undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses and workshops. A high level commitment to developing e-learning and training strategies is expected, including delivery of a Graduate Diploma in Microscopy and a Masters in Microscopy to international students. This academic position requires substantial leadership and team building skills to deliver significant research outcomes quantitatively (publications, funding etc.) and qualitatively (high impact papers, PhD graduates, expanded clientele etc.).
