The earth, the air, the land and the water are not an inheritance from our forefathers but on loan from our children. So we have to handover to them at least as it was handed over to us. There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed. What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are' doing to ourselves and to one another. To waste, to destroy our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified and developed.
