So, when you're out in public-whether shopping, driving on the freeway, filling up your car or perhaps visiting a friend's home-chances are your image and movements are being captured and recorded by CCTV. For many people, the ubiquity of CCTV extends to their workplace, leading to these questions: How far can an employer go to monitor their premises and staff? Does CCTV surveillance provide any real safety benefits, or is it just an excuse to spy on employees?
