Named the Death Star, the observa tion post sits on a ridgeline of moun tains overlooking several villages and Combat Outpost (COP) Najil in Lagh man province, Afghanistan. Its name may have come from the tyrannical amount of weaponry it boasts or the daunting hike it takes to reach it.
