Tyson Deli helps retailers expand prepared-foods offerings

Tyson Deli is providing deli operators a way to gain incremental sales in the fast-growing snacking society with Tyson Deli Market~® Grand Openings snacks. The hand-held, microwaveable stuffed bread snacks are available now to deli retailers nationwide. Tyson Deli Market Grand Openings snacks come in three varieties: Ham & Swiss Snacks (a blend of ham and Swiss cheese wrapped in a sourdough roll and topped with mozzarella cheese), Chipotle BBQ flavored Chicken Snacks (pulled, barbecued chicken with a sweet and spicy chipotle sauce and Cheddar cheese wrapped in a masa dough), and Italian Style Meatball & Mozzarella Snacks (beef meatballs blended with Italian seasonings and mozzarella wrapped in an herbed dough). These snacks are made with dough designed to perform out of the microwave as if they had been oven-baked.
