I hadn't thought much about Bob Lazar in the last few years, having laid out my comments years ago based on my research efforts. My conclusions have been that he is bright guy who has frequently misrepresented the facts about himself, especially about his professional qualifications. Though claiming to be a nuclear physicist, nobody seems to be able to provide any evidence. After all, it should be easy to verify his claims: he says he has an MSc from MIT in nuclear physics and one from Cal Tech in electronic engineering. He claimed to have worked at Los Alamos National Lab (LANL) back-engineering UFOs while working on several captured alien craft at S4. I contacted five different people at MIT, and others at Cal Tech, LANL, Bob's high school in New York State, the American Physical Society, and the American Nuclear Society. I talked to George Knapp, whom I consider the top UFO journalist. I attended a conference at which George interviewed Bob on stage. They were not available for discussion before or after the interview. I spoke with Gene Huff, a close associate of Bob's. Gene had asked me what it would take to convince me that Bob was legitimate. I mentioned copies of his diplomas, a professional resume, a list of papers he had published, membership in professional groups. All I obtained was a copy of a listing in the LANL phone book proving he had been employed there, apparently working for Kirk Meyer Corp at the Meson Accelerator facility and not employed by LANL.
