As with the Vanquish and GT Speed, we saw the F-Type exceed expectations where the Cayman failed to meet them. This time, though, the overachiever was also the spoiler, and the judges' reactions couldn't be more different. Burgess: "It performed beyond all my expectations. Jaguars are usually straight-line fast but too heavy in the corners. But this Jag is different. It buckles down in the corners, and that engine can push it out of anything." Lago: "The words 'capable, solid, and tight' come to mind. It's kind of like a powerlifting Miata, with way more muscle than the Cayman/ Boxster." Jurnecka: "What a fun little car!
