World seaborne coking coal trade is poised for a decline this year, mirroring developments in the global steel sector. Crude steel production in the first eight months of 2015 has fallen by 2.3% year-on -year across the world, figures from the World Steel Association show, putting output on course for the first annual decline for six years.
