In the first of a regular MOG feature Ian Parkinson, the "Group Captain" tells of the origins and objectives of the new organisation. MOG is proud to be their home and we look forward to publishing reports and pictures of their future adventures. It was some years ago that Maria and I attended a Curborough Sprint weekend, back in the days when one day was MTWC Racing and MSCC Racing on the other day. We were in our trusty Morgan Plus 4 on that weekend. In the paddock I got talking to John Rowland who was competing in his Matchless MX4 engined Super Sports, being the friendly guy he is, he took me out for a spin on nearby roads which resulted in us getting a rollicking from the Clerk of the Course upon our return. Driving on the road with race numbers on!
