The Brexit trade deal was no doubt greeted with a quiet sigh of relief at Pickersleigh Road. The part of the UK's new trade agreement with the EU concerning car exports stated that no tariffs would be payable if a car was built from more that 55% of locally produced parts. With "locally produced parts" being defined as originating both from the UK or Europe it is clear that Morgans clearly fall well into the no tariff category. Officially no word has come from Senior Management at Morgan Motor Company, but all must have been concerned at the prospect of a No Deal trading future as 70% of all Morgan production is currently for export, with 50% alone going to Mainland Europe.
