Graham Smith appointed RDGDG

Graham Smith has been appointed as Director-General of Rail Delivery Group Ltd (RDG), the body which includes the Chief Executives of the major passenger and freight owning groups and Network Rail. The Rail Delivery Group was set up in 2011 and has now been for malised as a company limited by guarantee which aims to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the rail industry. Mr Smith has been Secretary of the RDG since its creation, joining the Group after a 33-year career in the freight industry.
