More delays to DB London services

Db (German Rail) has confirmed to Modern Railways that through services between Germany and London will not start before 2016 at the earliest. Problems with the newVelaro D Class 407 ICE high speed trains proposed for the service are one of the reasons for delay. DB told the German media in late November that plans to use the new high speed trains as a winter reserve fleet had been abandoned due to ongoing delays in approvals.
