LPA Group, the electromechanical equipment and LED lighting specialists, will display some exciting new products at InnoTrans. These include: 1. a 10GbE-Ready train ethernet backbone solution; 2. LED (light-emitting diode) based lighting products for depot, tunnel, station and passenger space applications; and 3. Passenger Information Systems. The company says it remains committed to the sustainability concept that 'Long life reliability does not cost the earth' and that adopting criteria such as quality and whole life cost of ownership rather than lowest initial cost is the environmentally responsible and self-interested way forward. LPA has renamed LPA Niphan Systems as 'LPA Connection Systems' and relocated both this business and LPA Group headquarters to a 400sq m newly refurbished facility within one mile of the company's old facility in Saffron Walden near Cambridge, with 100% staff retention.
