GBRf uses Class 20s and 'Western'

The continuing traction shortage in the GB Railfreight fleet has seen it take on an extra pair of Class 20s for use on infrastructure trains. It is also planning to return D1015 Western Champion to use. On 23 January, Nos 20142/189 were used for the 11.21 Wellingborough-Mountsorrel, the train that D1015 had been working before Christmas. However with a 1,700 tonne load behind them, the two locos struggled at times, bringing concern from Network Rail and East Midlands Trains.
