Mississippi Valley Stihl (MVS) was in the fortunate position of having growing product lines and customer bases, but then discovered it took more employees longer to pull orders by hand.rn"Every evening at 4:30, three of our office workers would join the warehouse staff until 6:30 just so they could get the parts and accessories shipped out," recalls Mike Joynt, president of MVS. "We would have as many as 11 people working to get the job done."rnWith parts and accessories warehoused in 17,000 square feet of space, pickers literally walked the aisles to pull items to fill individual orders.
