CSCMP is a hit in Chicago

It's a wrap! The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals hosted its Annual Global Conference 2009 in Chicago from Sept. 21-23. The event drew about 3,000 supply chain professionals and students from more than 40 countries. Highlights included facility tours to CenterPoint Intermodal Center, UPS and The Pampered Chef; a Learning Exchange forum with product demos and supply chain management service offerings; sessionsrncovering 20 educational tracks; and a keynote speech from Gary Maxwell, Walmart's senior vice president of international supply chain. CSCMP 2010 will be held in San Diego from Sept. 26-29.
