摘要

The closed loop variable speed operation of a Permanent Magnet Brushless DC (PMBLDC) motor under load during various transient and steady state running conditions has been investigated through extensive simulation using MATLAB/ Simulink. A simulation schematic which models the full drive system with hysteresis current controller and a modified space vector based predictive current controller for PWM of a 6-pulse voltage fed inverter is developed and the performance evaluated. Comparison of the simulation results using one controller at a time reveal significant aspects of the system behavior which indicate possible trade offs in the choice of a controller for a given PMBLDC motor drive application.
