摘要

The control of heat exchanger is complex due to its nonlinear dynamics, and particularly the variable steady-state gain and time constant of the process fluid. Huang et al. (1998) and (2004) has introduced a method to identify Wiener type model using Relay Feedback Test (RFT). In this paper control heat exchanger process is implemented in real-time using the methods of Huang et al. (1998) and (2004). The advantage of these two RFT methods is also demonstrated with few simulation examples. The performance of the Wiener model based control strategy is evaluated in real-time and the results are compared with those of a conventional PI controller.
