Radisys: from Disneyland to the future of mobile communications

Few people know that Radisys started life nearly 30 years ago as a provider of Intel- based CPU boards for embedded applications in products such as Disneyland rides and Las Vegas slot machines - a far cry from its current position today as a leading provider of advanced software and integrated system solutions for the communications networking market. Today, Radisys' customers are embracing virtualisation technologies as mobile operators shift to a software-centric network model to deal with explosive demands on their networks. Seeing this trend, Radisys formally announced earlier this year the culmination of its three-year strategic transformation to a software centric company, focused on delivering products that solve mobile operators' toughest challenges.
