Making the most from limited funding

Throughout the pandemic, Bradford City Council's COVID-19 support team worked with local independent social care providers on a range of issues. When the council identified pandemic-related funding, we worked closely with Bradford Care Association (BCA) to assess how best to support more than 200 local adult care services. Having considered a range of options in consultation with the BCA, we decided to be as innovative as possible and invest in a high-quality, accredited online training service. We could then provide all local care providers with access to this training, completely free of charge, both during the pandemic and to support service recovery.
