North Somerset is an area of contrasts, with diverse landscapes stretching from the coastal beaches and clifftops to the beautiful countryside, set in the South West of England. There are contrasts for its residents too, with deprived areas set side by side with more affluent communities - and North Somerset Council is dealing with all the challenges that brings. Now the Council is looking for leaders to join their children's services department, to help give local children the best possible start in life. They are searching for an Assistant Director for Children's Services; an Assistant Director for Education Partnerships; and a Head of Corporate Parenting.
