Modular homes firm to build 162 houses in Worthing

A Swedish modular homebuilder has secured its first agreement in the UK for a decade with Worthing BC. The council will grant a licence to Boklok to build up to 162 homes on its land in Worthing, in return for 30% of the completed homes in lieu of payment. The remainder of the site will follow Boklok's business model of directly financing, manufacturing and erecting the homes on site, and selling the units. Once it is complete, the estate will be jointly asset managed by both partners.
