Henderson bows out

Northumberland CC boss, Mark Henderson, has announced he is leaving the authority as it gears up for unitary status. The chief executive, who has been with the council for five years, will leave at the end of the month. The hunt for a chief executive to lead the new unitary authority started last week. 'I am proud of my contribution to Northumberland, but feel it is time to move on and for a new chief executive to come in right at the start of the creation of a new council,' said Mr Henderson.
