Carmarthenshire Trading Standards have devised an innovative financial education scheme called Money Wise, an interactive and child-friendly programme aimed at increasing the financial capability of the next generation. This is part of the council's Financial Education and Safeguarding Scheme which aligns with both local and national objectives in tackling poverty and protecting vulnerable individuals. Development of online interactive tools has allowed this project to increase impact despite scarce resources.
